I am 14, i want to be a princess just for fun. I know where to get a dress but how do I do my hair (about 5-6 inches past my shoulders, dirty blonde) and makeup? thank you so much for your help, and yes i know it is a while until halloween but i am bored right now and, uh, well… yeah. thanks again!!! =D
Well, there are many options for you to choose from. You could wear your hair long & curl it, which is very simple and cute, but if it’s a muggy Halloween night, your curls may not hold up. Another choice is to do a cute bun- this should hold up all night easily! I was a princess when I was 12, & I wore my hair long & curly w/ some twists & braids going around the back of my head like a crown or headband or whatever, & it was really cute. You can also go to your local craft store & pick up some small faux flowers to braid into your hair. Make sure you have a pretty tiara, too! For makeup, Halloween is the time to go a little crazy and have fun! Get some glitter eyeshadow in your favorite color! Bright eye makeup in pretty colors is the only thing you really need, give or take a little blush/lip gloss. There’s also some links for the makeup. The hair site I’ve included in my sources also has some very good ideas (I know they’re all little girls in the pictures, but the hairstyles would look cute on any age). Some of them you can do yourself, but others you should have your mom/sister/friend do for you. I hope this helped!
