princess makeupprincess makeup

I want to open a princess party boutique, Do I need a Cosm. Licence to put up their hair and put on makeup?

It’s a cosmetology licence for the state of Maryland.
It’s a boutique where kids come to get dresses up and have there hair put up and small amounts of makeup on. Maybe even alittle nail polish.

Good question. I doubt that avon ladies and all those girls at the makeup counters have cosm. license. But you should check to make sure.

What is a cosm. licence? You should expand your question to get more answers.

Check with your local and state authorities. The laws vary from state to state.

I googled "princess party boutique", and I don’t know what that is. I’m assuming cosm. is cosmetic. Clarify and repost, please.

I’m assuming you want to open some sort of salon and be a cosmetologist/hair dresser/beautician.
From the link below: "All States require barbers, cosmetologists, and other personal appearance workers to be licensed, with the exceptions of shampooers and makeup artists. To qualify for a license, most job seekers are required to graduate from a State-licensed barber or cosmetology school."
See the link for more information. States vary on their policies and licensing.
