putting the light color on the inside of her eyes and working your the darker color outward would have made her eyes look bigger and would have given it a more professional look. Also adding some pink would have matched her costume mor than just purple and white did.

A sponge would have been faster, more gentle on her face, and it would have been easier to blend.
